Globular vessel, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop; Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC / Early Dynastic III; globular vessel with a narrow neck upper part of the neck and spout not preserved; thickened circular base; clay vessel for oils and ointments; vice-free vessel; Al-Jazira Northern Mesopotamia, Khabur basin; Tell Rad Shakra, Syria site of discovery; height 11.3 cm, width 10.45 cm., A rounded, bulbous object with a narrow, irregular opening at the top sits against a plain background; the object has a rough, pitted surface with visible small pits and fine cracks, an overall sandy beige color with areas of darker tan and subtle brown speckling, and a slightly uneven rim that appears chipped in places.
