Bowl, unknown northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC Early Dynastic III period, clay vessel; bowl with an egg-shaped body, rounded bottom and a straight, non-separated rim slightly bent inwards; ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC; Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra, North-Eastern Syria; vessel; height 7.8 cm, width 10.7 cm, A rounded, beige ceramic bowl with an uneven rim and visible cracks and chips sits against a solid gray background; the bowl surface shows darker brown smudges and spots, areas of lighter off-white patches, and fine horizontal striations in the clay texture.
