Globular vessel with a low, conically flaring neck terminating in a narrow, slightly thickened and everted rim; rounded, slightly flattened bottom. Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra, Syria. Height 8.4 cm, width 9.5 cm., A worn spherical object with a rough, mottled surface in shades of tan, beige, brown, and some darker brown spots, shown against a solid medium-gray background; there are traces of a few small colored marks in blue and a small area of red, and the surface shows uneven patches, scratches, and areas of discoloration.
