The vessel was carefully smoothed and fired in a reduction atmosphere. Syria Tell Rad Shakra, Khabur basin, Northern Mesopotamia place of production, height 9.4 cm, width 9.7 cm., The image shows a round, weathered clay pot with a wide rim, displayed against a plain gray background; the pot's surface is mostly muted brown and gray with darker gray and slightly greenish tints, visible hairline cracks and chips, areas of lighter beige and off-white speckling, and a few darker fractured edges.
