Necklace with eight amphorae and a crescent, The necklace consists of eight gold amphorae; the surface between the bodies and the necks of the amphorae is filled with white enamel. Each amphora is attached to a fluted tube. Two gold beads are placed between the amphorae. At the ends of the necklace are 10 beads on one side and 11 beads on the other. In the center hangs a flat downward-facing crescent moon, made of a different, more reddish gold. 3rd century BC possibly late 4th–3rd century BC, Greece, jewelry, weight 12 g., A beaded necklace displayed against a light gray background with a central dark crescent-shaped pendant and a string of small round beads in brown and gold tones leading to a series of triangular gold-colored metal pendants with raised textured details evenly spaced along the lower arc; the triangular pendants have small areas that appear slightly darker or greenish, and the beads vary in metallic brown and muted gold hues, with short tasseled fiber ends at the ends of the necklace.
