Arched fibula, one-piece fibula with an arched bow made of a round bronze bar, decorated with groups of circumferential notches. A 1.5-turn loop at the transition from the bow to the pin. Sheath damaged. Date: 9th–8th century BC. Findplace: Cumae, Southern Italy. Type: fibula ad arco semplice. Dimensions: height 3.2 cm, width 4.2 cm., A curved, tubular object with a textured, ribbed surface floats against a plain light gray background; the object appears metallic with a mix of dark brown, green, and hints of reddish tones, and has irregularities and worn areas along its length, with both ends slightly thicker and one end showing a small flattened or hooked shape.
