Flat, irregular bottom, cut off with a string. Vessel color: brown-red. Reconstructed from three original fragments; rim slightly damaged. c. 1550–c. 1069 BC, New Kingdom, Deir el-Medina. Vessel; height 4.8 cm, diameter 10.2 cm lip, diameter 4 cm bottom., A roughly semicircular, shallow clay bowl with a textured, pitted surface and an uneven rim sits against a pale gray background; the bowl is predominantly reddish-brown with areas of darker brown and small flecks of lighter tan, showing visible roughness and tiny inclusions in the clay, and the inner and outer surfaces display variations in tone and subtle scratches and chips along the rim.
