Onion-shaped fibula, Italy. A fibula with a hinged structure featuring an arched ring formed from a quadrilateral plate, ending on one side with a thick transverse plate with a stepped upper edge and large balls on both sides, and on the other side with a thick sheath shaped as a half-cylinder, cut to accept a needle. Condition: good; surface covered with greenish corrosion and brown spots. Late 3rd–4th century, possibly Rome. Jewelry, bronze fibula., An elongated metal object with a weathered, rough surface and a greenish patina, showing areas of brown and darker green; it has bulbous rounded ends, a central shaft with irregular protrusions and holes, and a flat horizontal extension projecting from one side; the background is a uniform pale gray.
