Onion-shaped fibula, Italy. Bronze fibula with hinged structure: an arched ring made from a quadrilateral plate, one end terminating in a thick transverse plate with a stepped upper edge and large balls on both sides, the other end a thick sheath shaped as a half-cylinder, cut to insert a needle. Condition: good; surface covered with greenish corrosion and brown spots. Late 3rd–4th century. Jewelry, fibula., An object with a vertical shaft and a horizontal arm forming a T-shape, showing rounded knobs at the top and bottom of the shaft and a tubular extension on the horizontal arm; the surface appears rough and corroded with mottled green and brown patina and some darker and lighter patches, set against a uniform light gray background.
