Late Period–Ptolemaic Period, 664–30 BC. From Edfu. Terracotta figurine, height 8 cm, width 9 cm., A small sculptural object resembling an animal form sits against a smooth gray background; the piece appears rough and irregular with a textured surface showing wear and pitting, and its overall color palette includes shades of gray, brown, and muted beige. The object has a raised head with a rounded snout and a hollowed area where an eye might be, a short neck with a scalloped ridge along the top, a broad body that tapers toward a stubby tail, and short, thick legs providing support. Surface variations show lighter and darker patches, small pits, and areas of rougher, crumbly texture, with some crusty deposits and subtle scratches visible on the body.
