Vessel with hieratic inscription, Egyptian pottery ceramic conical vessel tapering toward a pointed bottom; irregular, widest at approx. 3/4 of the height. Narrow, slightly sloping shoulders; short, wide neck; very gently rounded, slightly flaring rim rim partially reconstructed with plaster. Handcrafted: upper part shoulders, neck, rim turned. Smooth surface, externally probably covered with an engobe. Made of Nile clay NB2 Vienna System. Remains of a hieratic inscription in black on the lower part of the belly. Old Kingdom, Edfu.
