Orientalizing aryballos, Greece, Late Corinthian period. Globular aryballos with a flat rim disc and a wide ribbon-like handle. Decoration: a band and two circular lines on the top of the rim; a narrow band on the rim flare. On the front of the belly: four lotus buds interspersed with palmettes and two hatched areas. Yellowish clay. Black firnis changed to brown. Dated 580–550 BC Late Corinthian I. Corinth provenance. Vessel aryballos. Height 6.7 cm, width 6.5 cm., A round, weathered ceramic vessel with a wide, flat rim and short neck sits against a plain gray background; the vessel's surface shows an aged, cracked texture and is decorated with faded painted patterns in colors including tan, brown, reddish-brown, black, and hints of white, featuring curved and linear motifs and areas of crosshatched markings, with visible chips and worn edges around the rim and body.
