Vessel, Beer jug of a slightly irregular, conical shape with a wide, very short neck and a flat bottom. Flat, narrow shoulders and a gently rounded, straight rim. Wheel-made of Nile clay type NB2 Vienna System. Bottom cut off with string and bearing clear potter's fingerprints, flaring slightly in its lowest part. Surface even. Color: red. Complete and fairly well preserved, with minor damage to the bottom. New Kingdom, ca. 1550–1069 BC, provenance: Edfu. Dimensions: height 24 cm; rim diameter 10 cm; body diameter 16 cm; bottom diameter 9.2 cm., A large rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow flat rim and a tapered base sits against a plain background; its surface shows a rough, grainy texture with areas of unevenness and small pits, and there are visible cracks and chips near the base and along the body. The vessel displays earthy tones of brown, tan, beige, and hints of reddish-orange, with subtle variations and mottling across the surface.
