Amulet plaque with a rosette and the name Menkheperre. On one side: a sphinx on a gold sign, above it the symbol mn, and in front a cartouche of Menkheperre. On the other side: a rosette. Hieroglyphs/cryptograms; cartouches; rosette motif. Ca. 1550–1295 BC; New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty or later, Egypt. Plaque/amulet; height 1.9 cm, width 2.5 cm., inscriptions include the name Menkheperre., A neutral gray background holds a group of small carved objects arranged in a grid, each showing carved relief details. The top left object is an oval dark brown piece with a central raised elongated shape and textured carved lines radiating outward, showing lighter worn areas. The top center object is a small rectangular piece with a symmetrical carved motif of curved scrolls and ribbed elements in muted brown and beige tones. The top right object is an oval form resembling a scarab in mottled beige and light brown with subtle surface wear. The bottom left object is an oval light brown piece with a carved scene of three seated and standing figures in relief, showing darker brown carved lines. The bottom center object is a rectangular beige and pale greenish-brown piece with carved linear and pictorial shapes in shallow relief. The bottom right object is an oval beige and light brown piece with a carved figure or figures in relief and areas of darker discoloration and wear.
