Bowl, Egyptian painted pottery bowl with conical shape and ring-shaped foot. Straight rim slightly flaring outward, irregular. Wheel-made from Nile clay type ND Vienna System. Surface even, glazed before firing; inner and outer rim have a narrow ~0.5 cm black band; remainder of vessel red. Traces of polish; glaze slightly worn in places—possible use-wear. Good condition with minor clay chips on rim and abrasions over surface. Analogies: Egypt's Golden Age no. 51, p. 78, ca. 1550–ca. 1425 BC; New Kingdom, early 18th Dynasty. Possible findplaces: Edfu, Deir el-Medina. Vessel height 5.3 cm; rim diameter 15.1 cm; bottom diameter 3.1 cm., A shallow, wide clay bowl with a rough texture resting against a pale gray background, showing a reddish-brown body with areas of darker brown along the rim and some lighter beige patches and speckles from wear; the bowl has an uneven, slightly chipped rim and a small raised base, with visible surface irregularities and subtle variations in the reddish, brown, beige, and gray colors.
