Bowl. Painted pottery, clay vessel with conical shape and ring-shaped foot. Straight rim, slightly flaring outward, irregular. Made entirely on the wheel of Nile clay type ND, Vienna System. Surface even, covered with glaze before firing. Inner and outer surfaces of the rim bear a narrow ~0.5 cm black band; remainder of vessel is red. Traces of polish on the surface; glaze slightly worn in places possible use-wear. Good condition—minor clay chips on the rim, abrasions over the entire surface. Analogies: Egypt's Golden Age no. 51, p.78, ca. 1550–ca. 1425 BC; New Kingdom, early 18th Dynasty. Possible find places: Edfu, Deir el-Medina. Dimensions: height 5.3 cm; diameter rim 15.1 cm; diameter bottom 3.1 cm., A shallow, rounded ceramic bowl viewed from the side with a tapered base and a slightly upturned rim, showing a weathered surface with small pits and irregularities. The bowl displays a range of earthy colors including terracotta, reddish-brown, and hints of darker brown along the rim, with some pale beige spots and subtle grayish tones on the surface. The background is a smooth pale gray.
