Bowl, Painted pottery, clay bowl with conical shape and ring-shaped foot. Straight rim slightly flaring outward, irregular. Wheel-made from Nile clay type ND, Vienna System. Surface even, covered with glaze before firing; inner and outer rim bear a narrow ~0.5 cm black decorative band; remainder of vessel is red. Traces of polish; glaze slightly worn in places possible use-wear. Good condition with minor clay chips on rim and abrasions overall. Analogies: Egypt's Golden Age no. 51, p. 78, ca. 1550–1425 BC; New Kingdom, early 18th Dynasty. Provenance possibly Edfu or Deir el-Medina. Vessel: height 5.3 cm; rim diameter 15.1 cm; base diameter 3.1 cm., A shallow, wide bowl-shaped ceramic fragment with a rounded rim and a small raised foot, shown against a pale gray background; the ceramic surface is mainly terracotta with variations of reddish-brown and patches of lighter tan and beige, and there are areas of darker brown along the rim and a chipped section at one edge revealing a rougher interior.
