Vessel with an ovoid belly, widest about halfway up. Wide, short, almost cylindrical neck. Rounded, slightly tapering rim. Rounded bottom. Made of Nile clay in two parts, joined about 1/3 of the vessel's height. Surface even; beige color; complete. Ceramic Egyptian vessel, clay. Comparative typology: type V-XI,7 and XV-XVI; ca. 2686–2181 BC Old Kingdom, Edfu. Dimensions: height 35.5 cm; rim diameter 10.2 cm; body diameter 22.2 cm., A round, weathered object with a rough, pitted surface in shades of beige, tan, light brown, gray, and muted purple, centered against a smooth light gray background; the object shows irregular small marks and scuffs and a few darker specks across its surface, with a small area near the center that appears slightly smoother and a few subtle variations in color tone around its curvature.
