Bowl, Large conical Egyptian pottery vessel, clay; wide about 4/5 of the height with walls narrowing toward center, rounded bottom, straight slightly tapering spout. Two parallel horizontal shallow lines just below the rim. Made of Nile clay NB2 Vienna System. Surface leveled and covered with red engobe; dark red color. Reconstructed from original fragments with losses, significant rim fragments filled with plaster. Dated end of ST.P / beginning of 1st OP Old Kingdom, c. 2686–2181 BC. From Edfu. Vessel height 21.4 cm; rim diameter 28.5 cm; shoulder diameter 30.5 cm., A large rounded clay vessel with a wide rim is centered against a plain gray background; the surface of the vessel shows a weathered, uneven texture with a mix of earthy red, brown, tan, and subtle orange tones, along with darker brown spots and small pits, and faint lighter streaks and patches across its curved body.
