Medum type bowl. Medum type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Straight rim, slightly flaring. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is smaller than the diameter of the vessel's shoulders. Clay probably NB1. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. Complete vessel, very well preserved. c. 2686–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel. Height 4.2 cm; diameter rim 21.1 cm; diameter shoulders 21.1 cm., A shallow rounded bowl with a worn, textured surface in terracotta tones of reddish-brown and orange, showing lighter patches and scuffed areas; the bowl has a slightly raised rim and subtle horizontal tool marks, photographed against a uniform mid-gray background.
