Medum-type bowl, Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Straight, slightly flaring rim. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is smaller than the diameter of the vessel's shoulders. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. Vessel cracked and glued together; minor clay losses on the rim filled with plaster. Ca. 2686–ca. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom 6th Dynasty?. From Edfu. Vessel; height 8.9 cm, diameter 21.7 cm rim, diameter 22.3 cm shoulders., A rounded clay bowl shown from the side with a flared rim and a curved body, displaying an overall terracotta color with areas of darker and lighter brownish-orange, a few small chips and surface imperfections, subtle streaks and spots of lighter beige residue, and a neutral gray background.
