Vessel, Ovoid clay vessel with slightly downward-stretched shape, widest at about 2/3 of the height. Broad shoulders, very short wide neck; roller-shaped rim oval in cross-section and slightly flaring. Rounded bottom. Made of clay with significant organic temper Viennese system. Handcrafted from two joined parts join at ~2/3 height, turned in the upper part. Surface leveled; traces of a white substance on outer body and rim in places. Beige color. Complete, well-preserved. Late Old Kingdom ca. 2686–2181 BC. Height 24.9 cm; rim diameter 10.2 cm; body diameter 20.7 cm. References to typology and parallels in late Old Kingdom pottery., A large rounded clay vessel with a narrow neck and a slightly flared rim, showing a rough textured surface with visible tool marks and small pits; the vessel is predominantly light brown and tan with areas of darker brown and subtle pale discoloration, set against a neutral gray background.
