Vessel, Egyptian clay vessel of ovoid, slightly downward-stretched shape, widest at about 2/3 of the height; broad shoulders, very short wide neck, roller-shaped rim oval in cross-section and slightly flaring, rounded bottom. Handcrafted from two parts joined at about 2/3 of the height, turned in the upper part. Surface leveled; traces of a white substance on outer surface and rim in places. Clay with significant organic admixture Viennese system. Color beige. Complete, well-preserved. Late Old Kingdom ca. 2686–ca. 2181 BC. From Edfu.
