Medum-type bowl, Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Straight rim, slightly flaring. Narrow, very sloping shoulders — almost vertical. The diameter of the rim is larger than the diameter of the shoulders. Clay probably NB. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, then polished. Vessel color red. Vessel complete, very well preserved. Comparative material: Junker, Giza I, pl. I,2,16, c. 2686–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom late Old Kingdom, Edfu; vessel height 7.5 cm, diameter 25.8 cm rim, diameter 25.2 cm shoulders., A shallow, rounded clay bowl viewed from the side, showing a curved rim and a smooth exterior surface with visible wear marks and scratches; the bowl is primarily terracotta brown with variations of lighter brown and small patches of pale gray, set against a plain light gray background.
