Medum-type bowl. Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Straight rim, slightly flaring. Narrow, very sloping shoulders — almost vertical. Diameter of the rim is larger than the diameter of the shoulders. Clay probably NB. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. Vessel complete, very well preserved. Old Kingdom late Old Kingdom, c. 2686–2181 BC. Edfu place of origin. Vessel height 7.5 cm; diameter 25.8 cm rim; diameter 25.2 cm shoulders. Comparative reference: Junker, Giza I, pl. I,2,16., A shallow rounded vessel with a smooth rim and curved body in terracotta tones of reddish-brown and orange, showing surface irregularities and fine scratch marks, with small darker speckles and subtle lighter areas, photographed against a plain light gray background.
