Bowl. Shallow, rounded, asymmetrical bowl with a rounded, flaring, irregular rim. Surface level; lower half of the interior finished with a knife or similar tool. Slight horizontal line slightly above mid-height likely from placement on a stand. Dark red clay; complete. From Edfu — local workshop. Comparative material: A. Reisner, Old Kingdom vessel ca. 2686–2181 BC, height 7.2 cm, rim diameter 26.2 cm., A round shallow bowl-like object fills the frame, showing a textured surface in shades of reddish-brown and terracotta with patches of darker brown and a few small black speckles; the rim is slightly raised and shows worn areas and tiny pits, and the background is a smooth light gray.
