Stamp seal with figural representations. Glyptic stamp seal in the form of a truncated pyramid on a square base, terminated with a round handle. The four side walls and the base are decorated with engraved, stylized figurative representations: two opposite sides depict a rider on a horse; one side depicts a striding figure holding a staff topped with a star; the opposite wall depicts an animal being attacked by a bird of prey. A winged animal is engraved on the seal's base. Iron Age, 9th–6th century BC. Northwestern Syria; Near East. Material: seal. Dimensions: height 2.8 cm, width 1.3 cm, depth 1.4 cm; impression carrier dimensions: length 8.5 cm, width 4.4 cm., A dark, irregularly shaped carved object with a glossy surface, showing a stepped top section and a wider lower body; the surface has carved, rounded motifs including a heart-like form and a cross-like shape, with visible tool marks and small areas of lighter wear; predominant colors are black with touches of gray and faint brownish highlights.
