Stamp seal with figural representations. Glyptic, stamp seal in the form of a truncated pyramid on a square base, terminated with a round handle. The four side walls and the base are engraved with stylized figurative representations: two opposite sides show a rider on a horse; one of the other sides depicts a striding figure holding a staff topped with a star; the opposite wall depicts an animal being attacked by a bird of prey. A winged animal is engraved on the seal's base. Iron Age, 9th–6th century BC; Northwestern Syria, Near East. Seal impression carrier dimensions: length 8.5 cm, width 4.4 cm. Seal dimensions: height 2.8 cm, width 1.3 cm, depth 1.4 cm., A small dark gray and black carved object with a rounded top that has a hole through it, a vertical ridge down the center, and a textured lower portion showing carved floral and curved decorative motifs on either side, set against a light gray background.
