Amulet - head of the goddess Hathor;, Hathor myth.; Uraeuses; Face of the goddess Hathor in a Hathor wig with a wreath of Uraeuses; ca. 1069–ca. 656 BC, Third Intermediate Period, Egypt; amulet; height 2 cm, width 1.6 cm, An irregularly shaped small object with a weathered, pitted surface appears centered against a plain light gray background; the object shows a predominantly pale greenish-blue color with areas of brownish discoloration and darker green speckling, a rectangular beige paper strip adhered across its middle, and a few bright red painted marks along one side; the shape includes a narrower top, a rounded body with indentations at the sides, and a scalloped lower edge.
