Sculptural model - head of Nectanebo I or II. Sculpture model in stone, atef crown iconographic, uraeus iconographic, nemes scarf iconographic, horns iconographic. The ruler's head is in full sculpture connected to a flat slab background fragmentarily preserved, only on the right side. The ruler wears a nemes covering half his forehead; its front is decorated with a uraeus whose body is curled in a horizontal zigzag similar to a figure-eight, tail straight. The nemes bears twisted ram's horns. Face oval and plump with round chin and cheeks; small mouth with upper and lower lips of equal width and slightly upturned corners; long nose; small, close-set, slightly slanting eyes with upper and lower eyelids highlighted by thin lines; wide eyebrows. Very careful modeling with precisely executed details. Auxiliary lines visible on the back. With base. Height 13 cm object dimensions: height 11 cm, width 9 cm, depth 5 cm, weight 0.338 kg. Date: 380–343 BC; Late Period, 30th Dynasty reign of Nectanebo I or II, Egypt., A weathered sculpted profile of a human head carved from a brownish stone with areas of lighter beige and darker brown spotting, showing a smooth forehead, closed eye, pronounced nose, and full lips, with carved lines on the top of the head suggesting hair and a small rounded ear; a rectangular block extends upward from the back of the head, and the piece is mounted on a translucent support against a neutral gray background.
