The colors visible include deep black on most of the body and neck, earthy terracotta on the rim and base edges, and lighter worn spots where the black finish has chipped to reveal pale brown and beige beneath. The rim carries a decorative band of repeating teardrop-shaped motifs in contrasting terracotta and black, and a delicate chain-like painted band encircles the base of the neck in similar colors. The overall background is a neutral gray.
