Amphora, Cyprus, geometric motifs, Cypriot pottery. Large amphora with two horizontal handles, rounded shoulders, and a neck narrowing in the middle, ending with a profiled rim. Decoration in red and black: on the neck formed by sets of lines, stripes, vertical lines, and triangles; on the belly formed by black lines and stripes. Dated 850–750 BC. Type: vessel. Height 64.2 cm, width 42.4 cm., A large rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow base, a wide body, a neck that flares at the rim, and two short handles on opposite sides, showing an overall beige-tan surface with areas of light reddish tones and worn spots; decorative horizontal bands in black encircle the body and neck, with a wider red band near the top, and a patterned section on the neck featuring vertical black stripes and diamond-shaped black motifs; the rim and handles are darker, appearing blackened or charcoal-colored, and the surface shows age-related blemishes and uneven coloration against a neutral gray background.
