Canteen, Cyprus, Cypriot ceramics, White Painted I . Canteen decorated with concentric circles. Vessel with a spherical, slightly flattened body width on one side 8.5 cm, on the other 7.3 cm and two vertical, cylindrical vises and a narrow neck. Slightly flaring spout reconstructed. Pinkish clay. Creamy engobe, black-brown decoration. On the handles, horizontal lines framed on the sides by thick lines, which are connected at the neck at the attachment point, while below the vises they intersect below the handles. The two flattened sides of the body are decorated identically. Two sets of concentric circles, composed of four lines each: two narrow lines framed on both sides by wider lines. The outer line of the outer band overlaps the neck of the vessel and slightly extends over the vice mounts, widening in these places. The center of the inner band is filled with a Maltese cross motif. Good condition: reconstructed spout and upper half of the neck. Limescale deposits have been removed from the surface of the vessel. Numerous abrasions, especially on the neck and vice mounts. 1050–950 BC Cypriot—Geometric Period I, Cyprus, vessel., A round, beige ceramic vessel with a matte surface and signs of wear sits against a pale gray background; the vessel is decorated with several horizontal dark brown bands of varying thickness encircling its body and top, and there are a few small chips and spots on its surface showing darker and lighter beige variations.
