Pinkish clay. Creamy engobe, black-brown decoration. On the handles, horizontal lines framed on the sides by thick lines, which are connected at the neck at the attachment point, while below the vises they intersect below the handles. The two flattened sides of the body are decorated identically. Two sets of concentric circles, composed of four lines each: two narrow lines framed on both sides by wider lines. The center of the inner band is filled with a Maltese cross motif. Good condition: reconstructed spout and upper half of the neck. Limescale deposits have been removed from the surface of the vessel. Numerous abrasions, especially on the neck and vice mounts. 1050–950 BC Cypriot — Geometric Period I, Cyprus, vessel., A round ceramic vessel with a narrow neck and two looped handles is shown against a plain background; the vessel has a beige base color with dark brown painted bands and a central circular motif composed of concentric rings and a radiating pinwheel-like design, and the neck and handles show worn dark brown coloration with some areas of chipped beige clay.
