Medum-type bowl, Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Straight, slightly flaring rim. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is smaller than the diameter of the vessel's shoulders. Nile clay, light red, well fired. Surface leveled, covered with a layer of engobe and polished. On the outside of the bottom part is a hieroglyphic sign in the shape of a bird, probably the letter m. Vessel color red. Complete, very well preserved. Comparative references: Junker, Giza I, pl. Ca. 2686–2181 BC Old Kingdom, Edfu; vessel height 8.9 cm, rim diameter 20.9 cm, shoulder diameter 21.5 cm., A terracotta bowl with a rounded profile and a slightly flared rim is shown centered against a plain gray background; the bowl is reddish-brown with variations in tone and some lighter patches and scuff marks on its surface.
