Medum-type bowl, Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Straight, slightly flaring rim. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is smaller than the diameter of the vessel's shoulders. Nile clay, light red, well fired. Surface leveled, covered with a layer of engobe and then polished. On the outside of the bottom part is a hieroglyphic sign in the shape of a bird, probably the letter m. Vessel color red. The vessel is complete, very well preserved. Old Kingdom, ca. 2686–2181 BC. Vessel: height 8.9 cm; diameter 20.9 cm rim; diameter 21.5 cm shoulders., A terracotta bowl with a rounded base and a slightly flared rim, shown against a flat gray background; the bowl is an earthy reddish-brown with lighter worn areas and subtle surface scratches, and there are a few small darker spots on its exterior.
