Medum-type bowl, Egyptian ceramics; Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Straight, slightly flaring rim. Narrow, sloping shoulders. Diameter of the rim is smaller than the diameter of the vessel's shoulders. Nile clay, light red, well fired. Surface leveled, covered with a layer of engobe and polished. On the outside of the bottom part is a hieroglyphic sign in the shape of a bird, probably the letter m. Vessel color red. Complete, very well preserved. Comparative material: Junker, Giza I, pl. I, fig. 282. ca. 2686–ca. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom; Edfu; vessel height 8.9 cm, diameter 20.9 cm rim, diameter 21.5 cm shoulders., A single rounded bowl-shaped object in a terracotta orange color is centered against a flat gray background, showing a smooth rim and gently curved sides with some lighter worn areas and subtle surface texture.
