Bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC Early Dynastic III period, deep bowl with a rounded, slightly flattened, carelessly thickened bottom from which the bowl walls emerge in an arched line; in the upper part the walls are slightly inclined towards the center; straight low rim distinguished by a carelessly engraved line on the outside; clay vessel, tableware, vice-free vessel; Syria Tell Jassa el Gharbi, Northeastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur Basin; height 8.7 cm, width 14.4 cm., A rounded bowl with a matte, textured surface in shades of beige, off-white, light tan, and muted gray, showing a few subtle darker brown and reddish-brown patches and speckles; the rim is slightly uneven and the body displays faint circular marks and hairline cracks on its coarse, weathered exterior against a solid dark gray background.
