Bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC Early Dynastic III period. Deep clay bowl with a rounded, slightly flattened, carelessly thickened bottom from which the bowl walls emerge in an arched line. In the upper part the walls are slightly inclined toward the center. The straight, low rim is distinguished by a carelessly engraved line on the outside. Origin: Tell Jassa el Gharbi Northeastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur Basin. Function: tableware vessel. Dimensions: height 8.7 cm, width 14.4 cm., A single rounded bowl-like object fills most of the frame, showing a rough, weathered surface with visible cracks and pitted texture; the object displays a palette of beige, light tan, pale gray, and hints of muted brown, with subtle variations and mottling across its curved exterior, set against a uniform dark gray background.
