Bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC; Early Dynastic III period. Deep clay bowl with a rounded, slightly flattened, carelessly thickened bottom from which the walls emerge in an arched line. In the upper part the walls are slightly inclined toward the center. Straight, low rim distinguished by a carelessly engraved line on the outside. Vessel; height 8.7 cm, width 14.4 cm. Found at Tell Jassa el Gharbi, Northeastern Syria Al-Jazira, Khabur Basin, Northern Mesopotamia., A roughly hemispherical bowl with a rounded base and an open top, showing an uneven, textured surface with visible patches and subtle irregularities; the bowl displays a mix of beige, light brown, gray, and muted pink tones with some darker brown speckling and faint streaks, set against a solid dark gray background.
