Bowl, unknown northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC, clay; table vessel. Bowl with a flat oval bottom from which straight, slightly tilted walls rise in a short arc, terminating in a straight, not distinct rim. Ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. From Tell Jassa el Gharbi North-Eastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin. Vessel; height 7 cm, width 12.2 cm., A shallow rounded bowl shown from the side against a solid background, with a smooth, matte surface in shades of beige and tan and subtle darker hairline cracks and repair lines visible across its body, slight variations in tone with hints of pale cream and light brown, and a uniform gray background.
