The whole is asymmetrical. c. 2600–c. 2350 BC; found at Tell Jassa el Gharbi north-eastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur Basin., A roughly rounded, shallow bowl with an uneven rim sits against a flat gray background; the bowl shows a textured, matte surface in shades of beige, tan, and light brown with subtle areas of pale greenish and grayish discoloration, small pits and scratches, and visible horizontal tool marks and faint linear impressions on its exterior.
