Clay table vessel; bowl with a flat round bottom with traces of trimming; straight, flaring conical walls terminating in a straight, non-distinctive rim. The whole is asymmetrical. c. 2600–c. 2350 BC; Tell Jassa el Gharbi North-Eastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur Basin., A roughly bowl-shaped object with a matte, textured surface sits against a solid background; the object is primarily beige to light brown with areas of darker brown and faint grayish patches, showing subtle horizontal striations and small pits on its surface, and a few visible hairline cracks and irregularities along its rim and lower portion, while the background is a muted charcoal to slate gray.
