Miniature bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC / Early Dynastic III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. Clay vessel, miniature bowl with a narrow rounded and missing bottom and a straight rim; arched walls terminating in a straight rim. Origin: Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Jassa el Gharbi North-Eastern Syria. Height 3 cm; width 5 cm., A roughly hemispherical object with a textured, worn surface in shades of tan and light brown set against a flat bluish-gray background; the object shows irregular pits and scratches and a few darker specks, with slightly darker brown areas and faint reddish traces along the lower edge.
