Fragment of a bottle upper 3/4, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC / Early Dynastic III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. The upper three-quarters of a vice-free bottle with a slender ovoid belly and a high neck terminating in a thickened, outwardly turned rim of triangular cross-section. Clay vessel; bottles; Al-Jazira Syria/Iraq, Mesopotamia. Origin: Tell Jassa el Gharbi north-eastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin. Dimensions: height 18 cm, width 16 cm., A weathered clay vessel with a rounded body and a flared rim sits against a gray background, showing surface cracks and repaired joins; the pottery displays a range of earthy tones including beige, tan, light brown, and hints of pink, with speckled darker spots and areas of uneven texture across its curved form.
