Fragment of a bottle upper 3/4, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC Early Dynastic III period. The upper three-quarters of a vice-free bottle with a slender ovoid belly and a high neck terminating in a thickened, outwardly turned rim of triangular cross-section. Clay vessel, height 18 cm, width 16 cm. Provenance: Tell Jassa el Gharbi north-eastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin., A round, hollow ceramic vessel shown from above with a wide circular opening and a thick rounded rim, displaying a weathered, slightly uneven surface with visible cracks and repaired joins. The vessel's colors include beige, tan, light brown, and hints of gray, with darker brown speckles and small areas of discoloration. The background is a solid mid-gray color.
