At the upper end it terminates in a short, rectangular base blunted on both sides, behind which the double-edged blade tapers evenly towards the tip. Hilt not preserved. c. 1550–c. 1250 BC; Tell Abu Hafur East northeastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin. Height 15.6 cm; blade width 2.5 cm; depth 0.2 cm; base length 1.7 cm; base width 1.7 cm., A long, thin, dark brown metallic object lies horizontally across a muted gray background, tapering to a pointed end on one side and appearing slightly thicker and irregular on the opposite side; the surface shows rough, textured areas and subtle variations in brown and darker gray tones.
