Vessel with a rounded bottom, unknown northern Mesopotamian workshop; vice-free, thick-walled vessel with a rounded bottom and a bulging belly with short, arched shoulders merging into a low neck terminating in a slightly inclined straight spout. Early Jazira III / Early Dynastic III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. From Tell Abu Hafur, Al-Jazira Khabur basin, northern Mesopotamia. Material: ceramic. Height 15 cm; width 13.2 cm; rim diameter 6.9 cm., A rounded, weathered pottery vessel with a rough, uneven surface in shades of tan, beige, and gray suspended against a plain gray background, showing several visible cracks and a chipped rim with darker gray discoloration, small pits and speckles across the body, and a few areas of lighter residue or mineral deposits.
