Thick-walled vessel with a rounded bottom and a bulging belly with short, arched shoulders merging into a low neck terminating in a slightly inclined straight spout. Ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC; Tell Abu Hafur northeastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin. Vessel; height 15 cm, width 13.2 cm, rim diameter 6.9 cm., A rounded, weathered clay vessel with a rough surface and an irregular rim is shown against a plain gray background, displaying areas of beige and light brown clay with patches of darker gray and black discoloration, small whitish spots and mineral-like flecks, and uneven texture with chips and pitted marks.
