Surface covered with geometric decoration emphasizing the structure of the vessel; decoration composed of concentric bands and circles. 850–700 BC previously dated 750–600 BC; Cypriot-Archaic Period I. Cyprus, vessel. Height 54 cm, width 35 cm, weight 7.40 kg., An ancient pottery vessel with a flared rim and two small loop handles rising from the shoulder stands against a plain gray background; its surface shows a cream-colored base with bands and decorative patterns in black and reddish-brown, including concentric circle motifs and horizontal stripes that encircle the neck and shoulder, and the vessel shows areas of surface wear and variation in tone.
